work ethic

How we work together

We’re a small, remote team doing professional-grade work for indie designers. These are the habits that keep our projects sharp and our tables fun.

Excellence

We ship work we’d be proud to see in a best-selling game box, not “good enough for now.” That means clear rules, smooth tables, and reports that actually move a design forward. If something isn’t at that level yet, we improve it until it is.

Learning

Most of what we do, we learned by doing. We expect teammates who are curious, coachable, and willing to pick up new tools — from TTS and Lua to AI and Airtable — instead of waiting for someone else to swoop in and fix the hard parts.

Efficiency

Craft matters, but so does pace. We rely on process, templates, and shared tools to keep projects moving: versioned assets, clean checklists, and clear scopes. Meetings are for decisions, not status theater.

Ownership & Accountability

If you take something on, you own it: quality, communication, and follow-through. You flag risks early, ask for help when you’re stuck, and treat deadlines as real. When feedback lands, you use it to make the work better, not to defend the first draft.

Adaptability

Design, tools, and the industry all change fast. We stay flexible — refining our workflows, trying new approaches, and retiring ones that no longer serve. If a new method makes tests clearer or builds smoother, we’re interested.
